to paper and surface soiling, minor tears to margins. Carved
original frame.

Czech portraitist and painter of historical and genre themes.
The Archbishop of Prague originally owned the painting reproduced
in this lithograph. "In a series of obituaries after Maixner's
death in 1884 the [painting] Czech Peasants Fleeing was unanimously
