Label reads "With the Discovery in the Antarctic. (January 1930). A cradle of sea elephant life in the remote Crozet Islands. A panoramic view at beautiful American Bay. Possession Island (Crozet Group). In the background the snow-clad ranges rise to an altitude of 5,000 feet and give birth to the crystal stream which meanders through the picture.
