This image
was included in the touring exhibition The Family of Man, created
for MoMA in 1955 by Edward Steichen. The exhibition included
503 photographs from 68 countries. Originally, Le Guay was commissioned
by Sir Edward Halstrom, director of Taronga Park Zoo, to take
