31 Sonia Delaunay (French/Russian, 1885-1979)
[Abstract Composition With Two Red Circles], c1930. Colour lithograph, annotated "H.C." in an unknown hand and signed by Delaunay in pencil in lower margin, 52.2 x 31.7cm. Minor surface soiling and handling crinkles.
The annotation "H.C." (hors commerce - not for sale) was used to mark prints to be retained by the artist and not included within the edition.

Minor foxing to image upper right and to right margin, slight retouching to image lower right, old mount burn.
The invoice, dated 1973, is from Ernest Brown and Phillips Ltd, The Leicester Galleries, 22a Cork Street, London.
