The portfolio with board covers, original silver gelatin photograph label to front cover, the pages sewn in centre. Issued in 1917 in an edition of 25, this being number 18/25. Sold by Tyrrell's, Booksellers (original label to inside front cover). Bookplate of Henry L. White of Belltree, Scone, N.S.W. Varying foxing to each page.

#1 Sunbaker, 1937/ early 1980s. Silver gelatin print, toned, trimmed and laid down on original presentation mount, 37 x 43cm. This one of Australia's photographic icons of the 20th century.

#2 At Newport, 1952/early 1980s. Silver gelatin print, toned, trimmed and laid down on original presentation mount, 36.5 x 39cm. This image has a variant cropping to the usual: the little girl on the right hand side is left in the image. Usually Max cropped out this head.

#3 Bondi, 1939/early 1980s. Silver gelatin print, toned, trimmed and laid down on original presentation mount, 46.5 x 38.8cm.

#4 The Surf Race, 1947/c.1980s. Silver gelatin print on warm base paper, 36.9 x 38.1cm.
