A series of five drawings of the factory assembling the Victa Lawnmower - an acknowledged Australian icon. First produced in 1952, the two-stroke engine revolutionised the weekends of Australian males. Originally manufactured in the backyard of inventor Merv Richardson's home, it soon became necessary for the company for find larger premises. It seems these drawings may have been done soon after that move. |
