The folder cover is printed "Greetings 1935 - 1936" from W.T. Baker & Co. Ltd.

1916, 1919, 1920, 1921, 1922, 1923. Six brochures, colour process engravings, folded, various sizes. Mounted together.
All six brochures are in excellent condition and complete. The decorative covers of each item show the latest fashions. The fashion houses are Beath, Schiess & Felstead, Robert Reid and Sargood Bros in Melbourne.

Designed by S.T. Leigh, plates engraved by Hartland & Hyde. The border of Australian native flowers embossed beautifully to promote the skills of Aus-tralian craftsman printers. Desktop publishing can never achieve these results.

1788-1938, 1938. Poster, colour process engraving, embossed, 49 x 36.5cm. Original envelope.
Designed by S.T. Leigh, plates engraved by Hartland & Hyde. This poster shows 10 vignette views of early Sydney, as well as a portrait of Arthur Phillip. The 11th view of Sydney's Circular Quay is contemporary. The vignettes are placed on a splendid background of gumtrees. The poster is presented in its original envelope.

Published by Art & Australia. Blocks made by Hartland & Hyde. Rare set of Australian children's illustrations, unbound as issued. Barbara McDonald, an English artist, came to Australia after World War I with her Australian husband.
