Studies from the Bible, 1960. 24 colour lithographs, each 35.5 x 26cm.
This series of Studies from the Bible was published in a special issue of the magazine Verve (No. 37-38, August 1960), in an edition of 6000, printed by Mourlot. Verve included 96 reproductions in black & white and 24 original colour lithographs. Chagall produced the drawings in 1958-1959. He also designed the Verve cover. Ref: Mourlot #231-254
