Eric Gill was a sculptor, typeface designer, stonecutter and printmaker, who was associated with the Arts and Crafts movement. Among his finest achievements are the engravings for the Golden Cockerel Press, owned by close friend Irish artist and author Robert Gibbings (1889-1958). Ref: Tate.
