The undersigned ask you to reconsider your decision...” Illustrated in Watson (ed.), Building a Masterpiece: The Sydney Opera House, 2006, p161.

(b) Bring Utzon Back, 1967. Screenprint, 42 x 25.4cm. Paper remnants to right side of image, stains, creases and foxing overall, missing portion to left margin.

These posters were devised, printed and distributed by a group of architects and interior designers working in the Public Works Department of the Government Architect’s Office, Sydney, in early 1967, as part of the movement to have Joern Utzon returned as architect of the Sydney Opera House following his ‘forced’ resignation in February 1966.
