c1930s. Bromoil, titled and signed in pencil in lower margin, 32.4 x 27.7cm. Minor discolouration to image, slight surface loss and foxing to margins. Born in Adelaide, cardiologist Dr Harry Stephenson Lucraft worked at the Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia. A highly respected doctor, he was also known as “a skilled and artistic amateur photographer. He carried his camera in his car at all times just in case a misty scene appeared - he favoured ‘mistscapes’.” Ref: Royal Perth Hospital.
