Address reads “Finlay Road, Turramurra.”

A NSW painter of landscapes, portraits and indigenous people, Molly Johnson was also a children’s book illustrator working in the 1960s for titles such as Kate and the Bunyip (Carol Odell), and Our Sunburnt Country (Arthur Baillie). She exhibited her work extensively during her career and was a finalist for the Wynne Prize in 1961 and the Archibald Prize in 1969.
