c1960s. Colour process lithograph, 49.6 x 36.8cm. Creases, slight foxing. Text continues “Australia’s round-the-world airline. Printed in Australia. Posters Pty. Ltd. P74.” From the series on animals, commemorating Qantas’ inaugural round the world service in the 1950s. Qantas first issued this series as screenprints in the 1950s, using a Constellation plane in the upper right corner as part of the design. When the posters were reissued in the 1960s Qantas altered the poster to feature a V-Jet in the upper left corner. Ref: Qantas.
