c1950s. Colour lithograph, 99.1 x 73.9cm. Discolouration and water stains to right portion, slight foxing and repaired tears to edges. Linen-backed. Text continues “Australia’s overseas airline. In association with BOAC and TEAL. Printed in Australia by Posters Pty Ltd.” Harry Rogers enjoyed a long association with Qantas, designing many poster series, commencing from the 1950s to the 1970s. His posters assisted in establishing Qantas as Australia’s premier international carrier. Ref: Powerhouse Museum.
