The Whitlam Dismissal
1975/2015. Group of 20 silver gelatin photographs, all titled, dated “November 1975” and signed in pencil verso, approx. 23 x 35cm each. The photographs were taken at rallies in front of Parliament House, Canberra (12 Nov.), Hyde Park, Syd. (17 Nov.) and Randwick Racecourse, Sydney (approx. 25 Nov.), following the Whitlam Dismissal on 11 November 1975. Images include Bob Hawke, Neville Wran, Jim Cairns and Junie Morosi. A detailed list is available upon request; titles include Gough Whitlam Sings “God Save the Queen” (upper left).
