William Wilks was a member of the Free Trade Party, and was active in politics until 1910, when he was defeated by Labor. The Division of Dalley was an electoral division in New South Wales created in 1900. It was located in the inner suburbs of Sydney, including Balmain, Glebe and Leichhardt. It was abolished in 1969.
