Portrait Study Of W.P. Nicholson
1897. Colour lithograph, signed in image lower right, magazine blindstamp “The Studio, London” below image, 21.1 x 14.8cm. Slight stains overall. From The Studio magazine, issue 57. The Beggarstaff Brothers, James Pryde and William Nicholson or “J. & W. Beggarstaff”, were brothers-in-law who collaborated on poster designs between 1894 and 1899.
