1982. Etching, editioned 48/100, titled, dated and signed in pencil in lower margin, 17 x 26.9cm. Slight surface loss to lower portion of image. Abbotsleigh is a private girls’ school in the upper north shore of Sydney, founded in 1885. Austin Platt may have included this image among his illustrations for the book on the school’s history titled Abbotsleigh: A walk through time (c1984), by Robyn Claydon.
