1847. Lithograph, 14.5 x 11.8cm. Minor stains, foxing and tears to edges. From Heads of the People: An illustrated journal of literature, whims, and oddities. Held in NGA. As Attorney-General of NSW, John Plunkett was a key figure in the development of the judicial system during early colonial days. He was also a member of the Legislative Council during the period from 1836 to 1869, and a member of the Legislative Assembly from 1856 to 1860. Ref: Wiki.
