Text includes “San Diego…modern city of 200,000 population, California’s oldest municipality. Lying between mountains and sea on one of the world’s ten great natural harbors with a climate so equable that San Diego justly claims ‘the shortest thermometer in the world.’” Vignettes show a history of San Diego.
