Qantas Travel Posters
c1954. Ten colour screenprints, three initialled in image lower centre, 50.5 x 38.2cm (approx. each). Some posters with minor scuffing, stains or repaired tears to edges. Linen-backed. Most images include “Australia’s overseas airline. In association with BOAC and TEAL.” This group is part of the first issue of Qantas posters showing the silhouette of the Super Constellation airliner, which was used by Qantas from April 1954 to May 1963.
