The One In Seven Collective was a lesbian feminist group who co-produced, with Digby Duncan, the 1979 Australian political documentary Witches, Faggots, Dykes and Poofters. The film was partly financed by the Gay Film Fund, a Sydney-based organisation “which was established specifically with the aim of funding local lesbian and gay film projects and which raised money to do so by holding dances and screenings in the mid-to-late 1970s.” Ref: Bennett et al., Making Film and Television Histories: Australia and New Zealand, 2011, p225.
