1941. Crayon drawing, signed “Nan” and dated in pencil lower right, 51.5 x 39.7cm. Missing portions, stains and tears overall. Laid down on acid-free backing.

Nan Hortin (née Lyall) was a painter, sketcher, craft-worker and art teacher. She travelled extensively and was a member of several art groups in Sydney.
