Slight foxing and creases to dust jacket, prelim pages and edges, slight offset or discolouration to pages with plates laid-in, otherwise clean, and binding good. Some damage to slipcase. Privately printed by Beacon Press, Sydney. Special edition limited to 85 copies with 89 laid-in or tipped-in plates as well as numerous reproduction images alongside text. The booklet Souvenir of Australian Book-Plates and Book-Plates of Interest to Australia (1951), numbered “149 of 200” copies and signed in ink by the author, accompanies this book.
