The Stirling Water Tube Boiler Co. Camp At Ryde, NSW

Stirling Water Tube Boilers were first introduced at Ryde Water Pumping Station in 1906. Built in 1891, the pumping station had significant “impact on Sydney life...[During] the early 1900s, Sydney was not only in continual drought, but water was particularly scarce north of the harbour.” Heritage status was granted to the pumping station in 2017.
