1961/1992. Toned silver gelatin photograph, titled, dated and signed in pencil verso, “Lewis Morley” label on back of frame, 60.8 x 50.7cm. Discolouration, slight silvering and crinkles to image, glue stains verso. Framed. Similar image illustrated in Lewis Morley: I to eye, 2011, p263, with the comment “Morley took this photograph for Tatler magazine at villa La Mauresque, Maugham’s base from 1928 onward.
