Left to right: Unidentified, Andrew Dunn, J.A.K (Jack) Baesjou (manager and bookkeeper for the station), possibly Harry Hatton, Tom Dunn, Dorothy Baesjou. First homestead building built by Stephen and William Ponson and John Sharp.” Balladonia “was first settled by Europeans in the late 1870s, and by the 1880s Balladonia Homestead, a remarkable stone building given the available building materials, had been completed.” Ref: B.
