Friday 21st May, Heaven [Adelaide], $33 plus booking fees.” Mach Schau is the eighth studio album by the Australian rock group Hoodoo Gurus. It was recorded eight years after their previous studio album, Blue Cave, and released by EMI/Capitol Records on 15 March 2004. The album’s title is a reference to the German phrase “make [a] show”, which was shouted at The Beatles during the early 1960s by a frustrated owner of an Hamburg music venue, as he felt they were not animated enough on stage.
