c1955–1963. Colour process lithograph, printer’s proof, 50.3 x 50.5cm. Minor creases. Text includes “Comprising: conductor’s cap, badge, bag, whistle, ticket book, ticket punch, toy money. Manufactured by A.L. Lindsay & Co. Pty Ltd, 5 Foster Street, Leichhardt NSW. Buffalo Bill Products, no. 106.” Image includes different types of Australian buses, trams and trolleybuses. Held in NLA. A.L. Lindsay was “the first Australian firm to produce costumes under licence from American production companies such as Disney and Warner Brothers.” Ref: MAAS.
