From this starting point they have moved away from brash cabaret comedy to a performance style which relies on stronger visual images…Their production of Tablepiece… is not so much a comedy as a brilliant and innovative piece of drama…it is five flour-stained gentlemen twitching their way around a table and speaking mostly in an idiotic jabber. But on another level it is a bizarre exposition of the inner workings of the male brain.’”
