Michael Bell, a well-respected artist from Newcastle, has had a career of over 30 years as an art teacher and Mambo artist. He has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize, the Sulman Prize, and the Kilgour Prize, which he won in 2020. Ref: Newcastle Art Gallery.
