This album, titled Designs By Christian Waller, was assembled and bound by Richard Griffin in 1978 while the books The Gates of Dawn and The Great Breath were being reprinted by Gryphon Books, as mentioned in his annotation.

The album’s drawings by Waller include strong Art Deco styles and classical studies.

Christian Waller (nee Yandell) was the wife of fellow prominent artist Napier Waller (Aust., 1893–1972). “A successful artist, she was renowned for her book illustrations, prints, murals and stained-glass window designs. Her work is held in major public collections, including the Art Gallery of NSW.” Ref: AGNSW.
