Pelaco. “It Is Indeed A Lovely Shirt, Sir!”

Text includes “Pelaco. They fit. Sanforized, shrunk. Victory Publicity Litho.” The woman pictured holds a note with the following caption “To my man. XXOX, M.S.” Pelaco, an Australian men’s shirt company, was established in 1906 by James Pearson and James Law, who used the first two letters of their surnames to create the company name. Pelaco became an Australian icon and is still active today.
