c1880. Albumen paper photograph, captioned “Queenclift [sic]” in ink on backing below image, 13 x 19.6cm. Minor scuffs and discolouration, laid down on original backing. Depicts a photographer on a wooden platform taking a picture of a man seated on the end of a cannon. Two images of Shortland Bluff and lighthouse, Queenscliff, photographed from the beach, are illustrated in Crombie, Fred Kruger: Intimate Landscapes.
