CRUD [Citizens for the Removal of Unwanted Development].” Laurie Brereton was a member of the Australian Labor Party who represented the Division of Kingsford Smith, NSW, in the Australian House of Representatives from 1990 to 2004. He is credited with building Sydney’s controversial monorail, which opened in 1988 and closed in 2013. Ref: Wiki.
