From A Window Of The Great Northern, Newcastle [NSW]
1940. Vintage bromoil transfer, outlined in crayon, signed in crayon on image lower right, titled and dated “Nov. 1940” in pencil in lower margin, 7.5 x 10.7cm. Provenance: Moffitt estate. Image shows the harbour and the clock tower of Newcastle’s former Customs House, now a hotel. The crayon outline was used to clarify the uneven edges of the image.
