The service that is ‘uniformly’ smart!” Held in AWM with the comment “the servicewoman featured in this poster is Lorna Mavis Robinson (née Clay)…She was a member of the AWAS for three years, and described by friends during the war as a ‘poster girl’ for the service. Mrs Robinson’s early duties included that of a driver; she was promoted to lieutenant in November 1943.”
