Minor wear, soiling and dents to cover, slight crinkles and discolouration. Annotation reads “[To] Aberdeen Public School, [From] H.J. Goodwin, 16 October, 1939.” Text includes “Compiled by M.A. and H.J. Goodwin.” The booklet contains numerous articles covering a wide range of subjects, which include an illustrated article on gold prospecting on Byron Bay beach, Norco dairy industry, Anderson’s meat works, and social events. The booklet also includes sheet music and lyrics for a song titled “A Toast to Australia” composed by a Mary Goodwin.
