c1870s. Group of six drawings in pen and ink, two with wash, one titled in ink below image, sizes range from 11 x 11.6cm to 14.7 x 27.8cm. Some with repaired tears to image, stains, soiling or foxing. The six drawings cover the following subjects: (1) Titled “Spell Ho!” [rest break], the image possibly depicts the Glass House Mountains in the background with two men resting in the foreground; (2) Drovers’ camp in the foreground with cattle in background; (3) Two men hunting, with a Queensland bottle tree in foreground; (4) Campsite with two supply wagons and drovers; (5) Campsite with drovers and horses next to a billabong; and (6) Campsite with drover making damper, another skinning a kangaroo. Some drawings have incomplete pencil sketches verso.
